Bullywug

Bullywugs are a primitive race of bulbous carnivorous frog-like humanoids. With long hind legs and webbed toes, they inhabit wet places; rain forests, marshes, damp caves or virtually any other place which is shady or dark and has fresh water nearby, for bullywugs need to keep their rich glandular skin damp with colors well camouflaged in dappled browns, greys and greens.

Egg layers, Bullywug go through a tadpole gill phase, watched over by adults. An important food source for predators and often interwoven into food webs, Bullies face heavy predation in nature. Despite this, they can grow to 30 or 40 years of age and do use tools and weapons, although nothing beyond crude spears and found tools.

Some Bullwug have been observed using Goliath Bullfrogs as domestic beasts and mounts. They revere and fear the Titanboa above all else.
